Questions You May Have
-
What is your criteria for rating the condition of your games? The condition rating given is subjective. We make every and all attempts to be as accurate as our guidelines listed below. That said, there will not be refunds issued because you disagree with our assessment. Good – This is by all accounts what you’d look for as a collector. Minimal stickers, adhesive residue, or color fading present. If former writing cannot be removed 100%, we may still consider it “good” if it is faintly visible. Very minimal tears or dog ears on labels, manuals, or inserts will be considered good if there is no other issue. May have slight, but noticeable marks from normal use, so long as it’s not gouged enough to catch with a fingernail. “Good” does NOT mean mint condition. Fair – May constitute minor label tears or dog ears, but not enough to ruin the visual aspect of the game. More discoloring on the case and/or label may be present. Scratches and other minor wear and tear are common. This is still a presentable game to be proud to have in a collection. Poor – Even poor-conditioned games will work and play. These are the ones that have major defects such as cracked housings, major label damage, heat damage, etc. If your goal is just to own a physical copy that will play and do its job, no matter what it looks like, these are the ones for you! *Disc game cases are exempt from the grading criteria, but all efforts will be made to supply a fully working one if purchased with the original insert. All “loose” discs are shipped in a single-disc plastic case. All CD/DVD discs are considered in working condition and are resurfaced prior to shipping. Blue-Ray-based discs and Gamecube will not be resurfaced and all are tested up to the title screen.

What is your return policy?In-store purchases are eligible for a full refund if returned within 3 business days of purchase with the original receipt, but only if the product is defective or is otherwise not working as intended. If items are deemed to be in working condition or it is after the 3rd business day, we will accept a return for store credit with original receipt up to 7 business days. Anything after the 7th business day or no receipt is with the return, we can only treat it as a trade-in.

I saw a trade-in I want to buy, when will it be available? In order to give some of the best deals for trades and keep our prices among the lowest of all brick and mortar stores our employees consist of only family. That means on heavy traffic weeks, it may take us a bit longer to get items tested and cleaned to be available for purchase.
-
How long will you hold my in-store pick-up purchase?Due to our limited store size, we cannot hold items past 15 days from date of purchase. Please make arrangements to pick up your items as soon as possible. Orders will be available same day of purchase during regular store hours. If items are not collected after 15 days, they will be returned to stock and only a partial refund will be issued minus a 25% restocking fee.

Why isn’t the download code or special offer inside the game I purchased working? If you purchased an unsealed, pre-owned game, any offers, including bonus content and online play may not be available with the purchase of that product or may require additional fees.

The game I purchased was listed as CIB or Complete in Box, but there is no manual… why?Late era games slowly integrated into digital only manuals. While we are aware some consoles utilized both physical and digital we made the choice to mark all late era titles as digital for ease of posting. This includes WiiU, XB1, XBX, PS4, PS5, 3DS and Switch. If you are looking to purchase a title in this era of games you know has a physical manual, feel free to contact us to see if one is included.
